According to a new study published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, potential Levaquin side effects may include acute kidney injury. The researchers concluded that patients who took fluoroquinolones including Cipro and Levaquin were twice as likely to suffer kidney damage when compared to those who were not exposed to the drugs.
